I’m Desiree, an Early Interventionist, a Positive Parenting Practitioner, and a mommy of two littles! I am the owner and founder of Love Bloom & Learn, a private consulting business that provides education around many child development topics, including positive parenting tips, purposeful play ideas, and educational toy suggestions. Professionally, I work in an early intervention setting where I provide direct-service delivery to families of infants and young children at risk of delayed development or developmental delays. I have also received formal training in the Triple P Positive Parenting Program and the Circle of Security Parenting Program. In addition, I am certified as a Positive Discipline Parenting Educator.
Academically, I have completed a Master’s degree in Human Kinetics, where I researched certain child health behaviours in a daycare centre. I strongly believe in promoting and advocating child health in the earlier stages of life. Early intervention has a substantial and positive influence on later school achievement and continued health in adulthood.
